Jeep "Cherokee" 2014 - the right place for tech. discussion?
So will the "Other Vehicles" board be the correct place to discuss 2014 and up "Cherokee" upcoming technical issues?
I assume so.
...just sayin'

It all honesty if you do have 2014 grand cherokee questions put it in the GC tech section. 2014 "cherokee" questions, yea should go in other vehicles cause most members won't look in OEM cherokee since that's for xjs

It does say XJ under it. In what forum are people expected to post things about say a Cherokee SJ? This one?

Yeah they do but I'm just asking are they expected to post here since those are not XJs? If SJs and other Jeeps, respected or not, are supposed to post here then I don't see why 2014 Cherokee owners wouldn't post here as well. Anybody know the chassis code?

soo Cherokee experts... Could someone please start a thread in the right spot? Pretty please? I am considering a new Cherokee and plan on test driving one as soon as one is in stock. Certainly not a beauty, but it may suit my needs! And I look forward to learning about them from the experts.....

Honestly we are all haters on this forum when it comes to the KL Cherokee. If you are considering one, test drive it and the other vehicles and pick the one you like. Of the test drive reviews I have read so far, everyone seems to enjoy the vehicle.
Emptypockets is right though, there will be issues because it is a first MY. And with that said, I would still consider it if I was buying a new vehicle.
Oh there are copious test drive reviews out there.

Ok here is the main input on a 2014 cherokee.... if you get one and have a problem... take it back to the dealer. It is what is called a "warranty"...
2 nd if you are going to come in and ask how to mod it... no one here knows a dam thing about the ugly fiat built jeep. And no one makes anything aftermarket for it.....
So what possible answers can you get from a forum pertaining to 2001 and older cherokees? Zip zero nada...... that's what the stand on 2014 "cherokees" are.

First year Trailblazers were held on the lots and dealerships had to send wreckers out to pick up ones already delivered due to lower control arm issues. I don't remember how long it took them to redesign the LCA, but customers were pissed. First year vehicles always bring the suck. Warranties are good, but when you have to wait for a company to figure out a fix, it's not fun.
