Doesn't mean we will have magic fixes. Lol

So what possible answers can you get from a forum pertaining to 2001 and older cherokees? Zip zero nada...... that's what the stand on 2014 "cherokees" are.
Does this same rhetoric stand for WJs, WKs, WK2s? I mean it is CHEROKEEforum right? When people start buying these, and they will, those people will google "Cherokee" and end up here asking questions in the forum. Guaranteed. So what's the plan? Just hate on all those people?

This is a XJ forum though... Just like there are 3rd gen Camaro sites, 460 sites, and so on. I believe someone already made a KL forum, then there's JeepForum, and AllPar just to start. So there are places for owners to go to post. I just don't think we need to cater to every vehicle here with "Cherokee" in its name. This section is good enough and even then, I don't think many people here will have much to add.

I agree mostly. I don't think you can say this is a XJ forum though because we have a whole section dedicated to Grand Cherokees. What I am saying is KL owners will post questions here unless we some how make it very clear we don't deal with KLs. Are you assuming that people who buy the KL and look for answers won't come to Cherokeeforum? There are way to many uninformed vehicle owners out there to think KL owners won't come here.

Guess we are going to ignore every KL question?

Thanks folks. I really appreciated your frank comments. You will have dopes like me showing up asking questions, I'm already here, right ? . But I've already learned what the new model is! I won't be modifying anything....I but I have certain requirements in my next vehicle and on paper anyway the 2014 is a big contender. I'll try to find a model specific forum, but I'll lurk here too.....

You are good. Just post here in other vehicles to keep the info in the right section. I say we are all haters but we aren't ALL haters. So you might get some good info here and there.

Personally, if the KL fits what you are looking for, I say go for it. Better buy a Jeep, Fiat or not, then buy something else. Just my opinion though.

Just like SJ owners who ask questions, people can either try to help or point them to a better website. ZJs and WJs still use some of the same powertrain components as our XJs. I see nothing wrong with the inclusion of them here because of this. These newer vehicles have nothing in common with our XJs, other than being "Jeeps" and "Cherokees".

WKs are also included which don't share the same components to our XJs. Well some of them have 8.25 rear ends, but is one component enough? Maybe KL seats will swap into a XJ so we should include them.

I am not arguing whether they belong or not. I don't really care. If you read my post above I encourage the potential KL owner to post here in other vehicles. My only point is KL cherokee owners will post here because they see "Cherokeeforum" and "Cherokee" on their hatch.
