I haven't added it up yet. One of my Sons Manages an Auto parts store though, so I get all my parts at around 50% off what you would pay. They also made all the Hydraulic hoses for me at a big savings.
The engine conversion kit was pricey at around $1800 for the 24hp Honda. I have my own Sandblaster so that saved some money. I did have the main frame of it blasted by a guy with a huge sandblaster and that was $250. I paid $800 for the skid steer out-of-the-woods! Fun project though, you should go for it!

Well, I made the Small Engine Warehouse featured Gehl 2500. Kinda Cool!
Here's the link to the Company that sold me the engine for my Skid Steer restoration. They liked it so they put it on their website as one of the featured Gehl 2500's. Picture came out kind stretched looking though. They are working on that.

Thanks ******...
Haven't been working on it much lately... I started in on that F250 I bought. I put some Cherokee in it today in the form of a front fender!
Had to cover up a rust hole in the floor and the Cherokee front fender fit perfect.
I found some bucket seats on Craigslist cheap so I figured what the heck... Might as well stick those in there too. The cardboard boxes in the middle are a mock-up for a center console I'm going to make.
Stayin' busy hope you are too.

Default New paint

Well, decided to paint the old 78' F250 over the past couple of days. (****** 54' your gonna' like the color)
Massey Ferguson red.
Figure this truck is half tractor anyways with that creeper low gear NP205, Dana 60's and 4:10's so why not...
Wasn't going to paint the bed since I'm looking for the correct one but the Boys came home for Thanksgiving and talked me into it! At least that's how I reemember it... We blasted the rust off the box and they shot the box right over the rust holes! LOL Good practice for em'. I shot the cab. 2 coats.
Now I need to finish the install on the bucket seats and build a center console for the Dogs to sit on... Never ending!
Need new doors and a box next summer that's for sure, then this thing will be a respectable plow truck.
Mike

You have been a busy man lately Mike. The skid steer and the truck both look great.

Thanks Guys:
I agree... Old machinery is very rewarding to work on for me too! I know that Skid Steer and Truck have thanked me a million times over!
Good therapy for me too...
