Estimated, 700. and where do you get that weight? my LX notchback weighed in at a hair over 3100 by itself with the 302block in it, no driver.
And it takes more than a HP number to run that fast.

you can shed a lot of weight on a fox body. sure, it wouldnt be a practical DD, it would be a street legal race car, but 2500lb sans driver is not hard to reach with a early fox

In a gutted race car , With lexan, aluminum subframe, manual brakes, zero dash, liggtweight panels, some unibody cutting, ect....Yea that weight is possible, But that much of the lightweight vehicle is going to raise your price a good bit.
And nobodys running that fast at a track without a certified cage. Which is going to make it heavier

Admittedly I might not go that extreme (though I would if money wasn't an issue), I do plan to build a sleeper of some kind (I've been going back and forth between 60-70s wagons or an 80s Caprice or LTD/CrownVic, and a big-block or an LS engine), it will likely be 4-5 years out (once I get my Mustang paid off, unless I get a massive raise or win the lottery, lol).

My X had a Metro when we met I drove it a decent bit. It was a turd.
She called it "the pregnant roller skate" & "the egg on wheels".
