My 240sx Drift car build - 500hp this go around.
I've been building the car for the last 7 years and within recent months shattered the number #1 piston. With this tear down, I decided to sort out a bunch of the little details I've dealt with over the years and rebuild it for the next drift season. I've also bumped the power this time and change some of the engine
Currently I just participate in sanctioned practice events but would love to catch the eye of some serious sponsors. I know we're about off pavement here but a motor head is a motor head I guess.
You can follow the full build HERE but here are a few pictures...

Thanks guys, I've really put the hours in on this one. I've got a few videos on YouTube if anyone wants to check them out; search for s14unimog. There aren't a lot but I promise that's about to change. Just got a go pro camera so I finally can shoot video without needing an extra set of hands. Now I just need the car running again, lol.

If you'll check out my build thread I linked above, you can see the build up of the new motor. I'm running the Japanese domestic engine for this car; the SR20DET. It's such a great motor but the RB25 is a beast as well. Gotta love Nissan.

awesome man. I think I posted mine on here before. i really loved it, one of the cars I regret selling the most.
What turbo setup are you running/or going to run?
I was doing tons witht he 240's for quite a while. We had a very popular local web forum too. I had a tire sponsor, and a sponsor that paid entry fees, but it was still so expensive, so I hear ya

heres a couple bad pics. I just read through your build. Great work. You did a lot of stuff what was next on my list. I still have a dresser drawer full of receipts. It really started to get bad once I bought the AEM EMS, and started to make some power.
if you really look in this one you can see the oil cooler in the pass side bumper opening too

Nice! I've never been a huge fan of the S13.5 conversion but I'm glad to see you went back to the flip ups. For me its bricks on coupes and flip-ups on the hatch.
I finished prepping the inner fenders last night so I think the temperature will be warm enough this weekend to shoot paint. I can't wait, it will really pump me up when I can finally LEAVE the motor in it; lol.
