My buddies Sammi will put most rigs to shame...33's locked front and rear, 4:1 transfer case....It's easily gone where many built trucks haven't been able to make it!
This isn't by buddies Sami...but I fricken LOVE this video...makes me chuckle every time I watch it...
They rock too...bat are a little big for some trails. I'd like one like this one day though...

There is an old man down the road who has an MJ. Other then faded paint the thing is perfect, interior is in excellent shape and it runs solid...I told him if he ever wants to sell it let me know...would make a good hunting rig for me..

Next project
If you have not decided yet and commited yet.
Have you thought about a full size Jeep wagoneer? They look friken great lifted on 37 and with a mild 6 inch lift great bumpers and remove their front grill and go round head lamps a roof rack.
As for other choices. The YJ and TJ are each great. I prefer the TJ myself. Yet each have pros and cons to them.
I have owned two full size Broncos and love them. Issue with the new modles were the TTB Steering becomes a huge issue when lifting. Best to get an older model with Solid Front axles. Of course I prefer the first gens they look and run great. Hard to find a decent turn key one for low cost.
I have friends with the K5 and I love the 454 engines. They wheel slow and get the heck beat out of them.
Of course it does depend on what you wheel in. The full size Bronco, K5 and Wagoneer are great for family camping and carry tons of gear. You can sleep in the rig so no need of tents. You sit high above every one. Down side is a pain in tight canyons and wilderness.
Smaller rigs are great but not much room so getting creative is the answer.
Best of luck.
