My daughter has been driving my jeep, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L 6 cylinder with no issues at all, put in new battery and new terminals about 3 months ago. She came home and turned off the car and went to go somewhere a few hours later and there is no power at all. No power inside the car, no lights, no power seats, no stereo, not even when putting to key to the on position. There is no click at when when turning the key, does not turn over, no thing at all. I hooked up a multimeter to the battery and the battery is fine. I checked wires from the battery to starter and cab and they look fine. I hooked up jumper cables to it and it did not even click when trying to start it. I am at a loss of what to check now, any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated.

Had my father in law come over, we took a wire and went from power to ground on the battery and sparks flew so it had power. Then we went from power on the starter to the ground on the starter and sparks flew so it had power. So I went in the jeep to see if there was any power and the seats moved. So we tried to start it and it started right up. We shut it off and let it sit for a few minutes and it started right up. So it it is running now but does this mean that the starter is bad and should be replaced?
