Seriously though it was wasted in the cowl area and that was about it.



Big job to cut it out and weld in a new one. Came out nice though

Damn, I just finished the sheet metal on mine, had the usual rust in the lower windshield, floors and roof. slowly but surely it will be complete.

1970 was the last year for the Fairlane.

The 1970 Falcon changed bodystyles that year too.
They are also formalroofs/hardtops but have a post door frame.

Torinos/Fairlanes/Cyclones are a lot of fun to work on and a car you rarely see at car shows
Haha, ah I knew that, I just realized the fairlane emblem on the side too, my buddy had a 68 falcon with a 302, we got in alot of trouble with that car haha. My mom had a 76 gran torino which she wishs she never got rid of. I love fullsize fords, my two favorites are the 70 torino corba jet and I would love to have a 64 or 67 galaxie
