Here's my 98, I was stupid and decided to tear it apart and start all over. BD twins, DDP injectors, plate that met the grinder, Southbend clutch, airbags, 35" Nittos with 20" Helo's and a few other things before I tore it down.. I really need to get this thing back on the road, it's been down too long.

Dodge 2500 long bed. 6spd auto ..CUMMINS 6.7 with Edge tuner AFE intake and a few other things ... No damn trailer yet for the Jeep ,so instead of towing with it I'm just leaving sets of black marks in parking lots and stop lights ...I said sets of black marks ...1 wheel burnouts are lame...lol

Thanks, I'm pretty fond of it. I joined a diesel forum in 01 and have been hooked ever since.. I managed to jump from 185 rwhp to 338 with just grinding on the fuel plate, chasing hp got addicting. But the carseats don't fit in the back

I use a 95 f-150 with a 302 and it came with the towing package(low gears, leaf overloads, etc.) works great for my brothers boyscout troop trailer, my sailboat, and of course dads harly likes to ride in the back alot. im debating on weather or not to use it for the jeep. it depends on wich trailer i use, if i just use the regular car trailer it should be fine, but my friend just got a heavy duty equipment trailer that weighs as much as my truck unloaded so i think if we use that we will use his chevy 3500 duelly

Maintain it now before he gives it to you.. I made the mistake of trusting my stepfather with my mothers truck after she passed and although well meaning he didnt take care of it like i would have and now I have a **** ton of work to do to get it back to being as clean as before. He just kept saying "well its a 97, its going to wear out" So now it needs a total frame off rebuild.

im very protective over this truck, the sad part is my younger brother will be using it as a dd just like i am and he dont care for anything, i on the otherhand wash it once a week, he probably wont ever wash it cause thats how he is. but if i do buy it i want to level it out and run some 33s bfg all terrains, and of course it has a crake in the exhaust manifold and dad dosent want to fix it cause of $$$, i say its a good time for long tube headers and flow master 40s

I drag my heep around with a 97 Cummins 12valve. Wish it was 4wd and needed it to be a few times. It's an extended cab long bed so it takes a football field to turn around without the trailer much less with. Hard to beat 18-20mpg towing though.

I have a banks intercooler with pipe kit, billet banks torque converter. Afe intake, pillar gauges, mag hytec deep tranny pan, and 4 position chip pics...
Oh and a single 12" behind the rear seat with 750watt alpine amp and panasonic deck letting the tunes flow. Love the sound system and so does the girlfriend especially when she gets to drive it.

Not a tow rig but this thread is mostly Fords anyway.
