damn it,thats nice looking! good work, man. i can really dig the DIY ability. lol's to the flip flops and the comments they earned. what can i say, its not like flops aint wicked comfy. and if your competent enough to pull off such a quality build, then ill bet you are aware of where your feet are... idk, just a feeling i get.. haha.. just dont post that you lost a toe cause of it, or something! seriously though, keep up the good work. people pay good money for that kinda quality!

Yup. it is now black, but I had some D-rings go missing so I painted them lavender so that way I can identify mine when doing with recovery's and there were multiple d-rings and what not being used. I never had a D-ring walk off after that

how far does that hitch stick out? are you worried about it getting caught up at all?

It sticks out 3.5" and I have never had an issue with it. (yet) lol

yeah i guess that would make sense. The bumper is tucked real nice and close, and a lot of winch bumper stick out more then that.

what are you using for the 7th rearmost hole? i could only see 6 on mine. and do you run the bolts all the way through the "frame rails"? is there any kind of sleeving going on? maybe a pic of the bracket bolted up would help me. thanks.

It has been used to be winched off of:




and for some recovery:






No worries at all. you have to remember it is welded on the front all the way round an then on the backside too. it is not face mounted.

looking good! i just started working on my 3x6 bumper....whered you get the steel? i bought 3/16 at metal distributors and it was almost twice that much!
