originally i was thinking 4 stars for this thread, but after seeing the highly technical/artisic renderings(although crayola like) i have to go with a solid 5 stars.

its going to be about $250 tubing.. ~$100 for the flat plate.
We're going to work a design of the rear.. behind the seats but there's new talk about the front.
The front is tight enough as is. so either I weld the cab part like an exo and cross a tube on the outside of the window or link it with the front bumper or sliders.. not sure yet.
Im worried about the rear "tacoing" where the rear seats used to be. I discovered some major rusting back there.
So i may have to plate the rear and add reinforcement back there.
Also want to pick up a truck box for storage as well as fab up a tire carrier inside the back. This will add to the weight of the back to add to the traction.
Sounds great on paper! lol

I got an update..
The middle part of the cage is going to stick up past the roof top..
Theres going to be ladder bars on the rear of the cage.
The front is going to be like an exo. Where it wraps the outside of the door down to the sliders/frame. Two window bars One by the windshield wipers the other at the top. Tied in with a bar down the middle.
Picture it? haha i ll have to draw up an other paint picture
