I've been wondering and wondering and I found this link
http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthrea...#post244036436
It goes over putting 2008 WK(Grand Cherokee) seats in an XJ. In my recent research I found out this
ZJ('93-'98) seats fit in 96+XJ's('96 right?) - Pre '96 with a little fab and a hammer.
WJ('99-'04) seats fit in ZJ
and WK('05-'10) will fit in a WJ
What about the back 40/60 seat? Heres WJ seats in a '96 XJ

From what I can tell they all seem to be interchangable relatively easily. This is good news!
I'll keep you posted on the 07 patriot seats I'm putting in. Still waiting on them, shipping got delayed(my fault) and then the 4th happened...

One thing to add...after lurking in the Grand Cherokee forums, I did here alot of comlpaints about the WJ seats being a little uncomfortable. They're too stiff. I heard the WK seats are alot better and it seems the WJ guys are starting to swap out for WK seats.

I love the front ZJ seats. Stiff enough that they dont sink in so far you end up sitting on the spring (like the XJs) and soft enough that it doesnt feel like you are sitting on a board. Although the stock XJ seats do look cooler. I cant comment on the rear seats those. I dont have them yet.

i did the zj rear seat swap in my 96
just had to drill a few holes. they fit a little tightly, but not bad at all.
they sit a touch taller than the xj seat though. headroom wasnt an issue for most passengers though.

I know the fronts will fit good, they are almost identical to the WK seat
