yes , those are the same i used for the build , if you like those i left the link at the beginning of the thread , i dont recommend them too much, at first they seem to be pretty good but, after a few months the chromed reflector paint starts to lift off, that happened to me.
Those use plastic lens also, they are not glass... and you have to buy 2 pairs of led bulbs to make them look like that, they come with a set of gommets that you can replace putting them on top of the stock filament bulb and that way you can change the color of the angel eye.....
as my alternator its low on amps i had to change all my lighting to led bulbs to keep voltage up , thats why i used leds...

So, from what I read, it looks like with these projectors then you can really use any housing since everything goes on in the projector, right? So If I like the look of a certain housing, even if it is not the best (but still glass) I can use it then?

Of course , your housing will only protect the projector from water and dust and also to hold the lens, but it won't do any ilumination features , all lighting will come right from the projector, about the glass feature I have read on my research before doing the mood that glass is not reccomended as glass is too thick and will not let the cutout look as sharp as a plastic glass headlight.

So, you have the headlight, which is just the housing, and I saw your link to the Mazda 7X6 housings, and then the projectors. I like how you can have the square Halo of the Mazda lights housings, then have the circle halos inside.
I emailed hi-etech about trying to get specific colors for the halos... Red on the inside and Blue on the outside, and go from there.
Correction: I realize you said those Mazda lights creat bad scatter, but just the idea is interesting.

Yes the sqared ones looked nice too but you can't have both once you do the modification cause in order to insert the shrouds you need to remove the reflector that makes it look like a sqared angel eye ,that listing says that the headlight is for mazda but any vehicle that uses 7x6 headlights can use them, also you don't need to buy specifically from hi-autopia I got them from them because they got the cheaper price but there are several seller that sell the same projectors you can make offers to them and reduce the listing price , I got mine for 75 but due to a shipping delay they cut 5 bucks...

I just bought the housings, the projectors (only the blue outer and green inner)... so then i bought 2 9cm Red CCFL to replace the ugle green ones. lol. so in about 2 weeks i should be rolling with new projector headlights.
