Got some updates today.
I decided to run the coroprate 8.25 for now, just cause I dont want to wait to have the D30 regeared to match the 8.8. So I decided to weld the spiders
Got my leafs all painted up, waitin on the shims and center pins
The stuff I have been waitin on
The 8.25 painted ready to go back in
Leaf packs ready to go
Now the fun part...
me cuttin rear fenders

Movin on to the UCA's
Thats it for now. I still gotta fab the pass side uca mount. I should be getting the track bar next payday. then the front will be back on the ground. Im not too hapy with the way the upper mount turned out. I think im going to fill the back in, it will look alot better

well I got some updates. All the suspension fab is finnaly done, I am very happy with the results. It is back on the ground, finnaly. I just ordered my track bar, got it from Rough Country. I have never used their products but havent heard anything bad about them.
Anyway that should be here the begining of next week. Ill get that installed then basically got odds and ends. I have to get shocks, which I am also going to try Rough Countrys. Then I need to get some extended brake lines. I might just go to the parts store and get some rubber lines that are longer.
Oh and I installed the stock tie rod and drag link for now. That will definatly need upgrading, but just to move it around it will work. Now on to pics...
Since I pulled it out, I decided its a good time to clean up the shop
I think I got my wheelbase set a little long, the coil angle looks a little steep. Castor is set at 7 pos...

Well you have at least a mild superiority complex. Do us a favor and keep it off here especially since I don't see you building anything better.
Might I also quote these:
