about to paint the jeep. any hints?

Default about to paint the jeep. any hints?

i am about to paint my jeep. im goin to be usin a rattle can. i know it not the best but will look better than it does. are there any hints, tricks, or tips you guys could give me? thanks

sand it reall good make sure its reall clean. make sure to put plenty of coats!! the more the better!!!! mines rattle can looks just as good as anything else check it out in the pics

Prep. is the key to a good final product. Wet sanding between coats will help it look even. Paint lightly.

now im not sure if i wanna use rattle can or some sort of spray on bedliner. i have a spray gun. just cant find a decent bedliner to spray

Most be liners cannot be sprayed out of an everyday paint gun. They require a special gun, or have to be rolled / brushed on.

ok well i decided to do the bedliner option. what do you need to use to spray on bedliner?

Your local paint store will probably sell a gun similair to this...

Most DYI spray on kits will come with the can that screws to the bottom of the gun.

Personally for exterior I prefer Hippo Liner... but it's roll/brush on.

Line-X is awesome stuff. My dad sprayed his bed with it and it came out great.

i was thinking bedlined option as well... so i did dome research, bedliners like rhino liner like to hold moisture on the inside so it will actually promote rust, if you only plan on having the truck for a year or two then do it. if you plan on keeping it i wouldnt
