Default Bumpers and sliders

Here are some pics of the front and rear bumpers and slider bars my son and I have been fabricating over the past few weeks.

Those are awesome! Any write ups? Particularly the rear tire carrier?

No, we didn't do any kind of write up we just figured it out as we went.

what kind of "bearing/pin"did you use to pivot the tire carrier

Probably will not be building any bumpers for sale. I am not real new, my son and I have been doing alot of reading the whole time we have been building his XJ. If I remember correctly we purchased the tire carrier spindle, latch, and wheel mounting plate from JCR.

I just went and looked, the tire carrier parts came A-Z Fabrication not JCR.

The sliders are welded to the frame stiffeners and bolted to the pinch seam. The sliders are super strong.

Thanks, we had not ever made bumpers before. They are for my son's XJ and he was very happy with the outcome.
