Don't worry dude when I saw he was search and rescue I thought it was for med equipment at first to lol, till I did some google search for conduit racks and put two and two together

I felt like the drip rails where a stronger option. And I know it was already said but "electrical metalic tubing"

I just built an EMT rack of my own after seeing this build. Pretty dang easy. No welds, just 1" EMT+machine screws and I can walk all over it without any doubt it'll hold. I'll post pics tonight.
BTW Lowes has 1" EMT for $7.45/10ft. I dumpster dove at work and swiped 130ft for $0!
Oh yeah, go buy an EMT bender from Lowes for $75. Make your 4 bends for the rack, and take the bender back. Just give em the receipt and tell them you didn't need it. Done.
