MOre work got done today
Built a rear truss.. since the pinion angle isnt set yet it is NOT finished. It will end up being plated on the sides.. and ran down to the pumpkin where it will be welded with nickle rod with Pre and post heat.
Then I set the coil mounts next to the truss.. and tacked it to the truss
I was going to put the frame on the outside of the coils, but it would interfere with my plans of later turning the rear axle into a steering on. Not sure if I am going to inboard them.. or just change it again.. Tommorow I will see what it looks like with the rear x memebr and the upper coil mounts.

Well I changed a good bit of the stuff i did yesterday
I ended up notching the rails and setting them over top of the coils added a lot more room in the rear. and looks a lot better. SO now my frame rails are burned inand ready for me to start adding more tube and reenforcement. Will post pics later.

Made a lil progress today... emphasis on lil.
Put my 300 on the back of the doubler setup so I could set my pinion angle and tack the truss into place
I also put the actual tires I will be running on the back 39.5 Irocs on DIY bead locks
I also got a lil bit of frame platig done. That is what ate up most of my time. Grinding off undercoating and paint sucks... Not to mention the mill scale on the steel.

will your axle side lowers have to be moved inboard as well if you go rear steer? or would you just limit the amount of steering so you don't have to worry too much about the tires hitting the links?

Well onlygot 1 hr n the shop yesterday.. so all I did was play with my JD2 notcher.. man to think I used to do it the caveman way with a grinder and plasma cutter. Now I can do a standard notch in less then 1 minute
Well today after replacing my hydraulic ram on the bender I bent some tubes.... I got both sides bent but only got one mocked up as the top notch fought me for over 30 minutes.. Yes I made it too short.. but sleeve it with some scrap 1.5x.25 so it will be good as new...
