I am using the JD2 Notchmaster mounted on a home made stand. Kinda a pricey tool, but well worth it when it comes to notching. I am hoping I can save my coins some more and buy the upgrade to it from Swag Offrooad.

Kinda like that idea.. but think I am going to leave it as it cuts in Half the longest run of tube on the back of the rig.. and also ties it into the center part of the cage... not the outside.
Thanks man... the notcher does make life a lot easier. I have found the key to making the hole saws last as long as possible is cutting oil and going slow.
NO other pics from yesterday... if I get back in the garage today I will take some more

Well I am over being sick and I am now back in the garage all be it a lil leaner and with a lot less stamina.
All I really got done was inventory of the brackets I have to see what I might need, ANd of course I need some stuff
I did make myself some upper captured coil moints for the rear.. then set the rear on the coils... needless to say the stock jk rubi was too short, BUT Stock JKU RUbi was just right to give me the belly height I want...
I will post pics when there is something pic worthy... Probrably this weekend

Plans changed
Going to make what I have work. SO now we are doing a single triangulated 4 link.
Somehow from 2006 (when I bought the joints) and now I lost my Jam nuts
After some lunch I will will start welding up some brackets I bought back in 06... I am using these cause I have them.. and by no means I am endorsing buying a glass of water from this company now.
