Looks like he mocked up some armor out of some 10 guage sheet stock and screwed that to his factory fenders and then bent his tube and welded it to the armor and then will prob. Do a thinner guage sheet stock to weld to tubes and armor to make the skins of it.

ok i might sound dumb and sorry if i do but i learn alot better if i can see or touch ...but i know for my plans of makin my tube fenders im goin to use somethin like 10 gauge or 1/8th inch for my skins/armor...then do my tubes and weld those onto the skins then so the skins and tubes will be one piece then im wondering how to put and keep the skins and tubes in place over the stock fender...n thats why i asked self tapers or nuts n bolts or rivets...i mean if it comes down to it i could always duct tape and zip tie them on too...(just a joke) but yea sorry if i sound dumb im just confused on how to keep the whole skin and tube assembly on the actual stock fender...kinda like rear upper quater panel armor that you buy how does that secure/fasten onto the stock fender sorray again n thanks for help in advance

I know this is an older thread but I just learned jeeptubes.com has designed a weld on tube fender application for XJ's front and rear. The tube flares are $99 front $99 rear. The steel guards to weld them to are reasonably priced too. Check them out.

Yep im buying all that when I order my rear stinger tire carrier for my xj when I build my rear bumper. Might as well order all of it at once to save on shipping cost.

Default 97 and 91 output speed sensor (cel P0702)

does anyone have a picture of a 97 output speed sensor. I have a 2000 cherokee with a 97 tcu and a 91 aw4. it all works fine but i get a cel 702 for output speed sensor. I have a 97 sensor and it looks the same as my 91 so i just used my 91 sensor. does the 91 have a different pulse than the 97.
