Which transfer case did you pick the 242 or the 247 ?

247. It was not changed to beef it up. It was only changed because my 4wd was out.

Understandable I wish I had the 242 I found one for 80$ but gotta rebuild it and put a SYE on it and it might have been for the 4.0 do you know if the transition is different from 4.0 to 4.7?

I'm not too sure. I'm way outta my league on this project. LOL. I work in a government office sitting behind a desk. It's just a good thing I have connections with great friends and family showing, telling and helping me do all this because I know what a gas pedal and a steering wheel is. LOL.

I had to research to find out why my vent wouldn't blow any air and found that the fan motor on these WJs literally melt. A Chrysler Flaw. You can buy a new one but we are gonna rebuild this on. Thinking about doing a thread of it own for this.
