It's a chore to move the inner fender. There are three layers of metal to get thru by drilling out the spot welds. Cut the inner (third layer) out then shove the first two layers up in which gives approx 3-4 inches more clearance back into the cab. Plenty of clearance now for full turn with 33" tires in a GC. LOL.

This is the patch that was put in after removing the rot. Just needs cleaned up a bit but it worked nicely.

Nice patchwork man. That came out great. I wouldn't expect anything else though from your fab work

Oh yeah. I got this jeep wrecked but I believe it has been wrecked multiple times. I've found body lines and bondo that is not supposed to be there nor was it done right hence the rust. LOL. It's getting a make over the right way now though.

Sooooo..... Last night was a huge hurdle that I've been concerned about and we cleared it without any problem. Where this jeep was rolled, the front end was all bent up. We managed to get everything pulled back out into place very good. Everything lines back up now. I didn't think it would go but it did. That's why nobody has seen good pics of the front end. LOL. Now we are rolling. I stopped yesterday and bought the primer. If all goes right, the Griffin will be in Primer in a little over a week. WhooHoo!!!
