nahhh look up in zoom dude the cage looks all good and welded..... the bolt on looks just to be to protect the body...... the guys got a full internal with a mix of bolt on and weld on external

dude they got some nice builds on here! i love the one with the removable top. read up on that build but don't have the $$$ to back a project like that!!! lol

Still, why not just build a full exo? Why build a full internal with bolt on exo-pieces? Seems like a lot of useless work...no, nevermind...That is a lot of useless work.

man... ive been on the hunt for a nice comanche tailgate... BOTH of mine are dented to bad or rusted out and ive seen 5 MJ's in the local JY's and there either gone or no good... but yet everyone finds them for the XJ swap... sucks cause i want to restore mine so i want it lookin right...

actually i was in an accident just the other day in a cherokee it rolled, i guess it didnt take it that well but we were movin good and went right off the road and into a stream bed, flipped, but didnt get a scratch. cars totalled for the most part though

Yeah the car takes a beating, but you don't get touched. I've heard of almost every XJ roll over being almost the exact same story.

I was looking at some chopped XJ's a while back on google images and I think I saw a build page for this, it might have been one very similar. This has to be one of the best one's to date and has been posted many times in various threads. I also remember in one thread that someone on here said they knew this guy, or the person that built this.

There is one similar to this at the bottom of the page and it says its from a kit, it looks like the only difference is the wheel's.
