The transmission pan needed some kind of protection so I built a skid off of the crossmember to accomplish this. Now I know this will not hold the weight of the entire vehicle but that was never my intention anyway. Its just there to protect it from bashing the pan on a rock.

The fab work is done on the long arms and crossmember. I pulled it all apart and painted it.

def just sat and read every page on this lol...nice build man. You honestly just made me want to buy some 1/4 DOM and fab radius arms myself...where did you get the specs for the geometry?

That track bar bracket....you might want to grind off those welds and re-do them. Or at leas look them over carefully. Maybe yours will be fine, maybe it will do like mine did.

I studied a lot of pictures to see how other people built their arms and where they placed them. I also crawled up under a coworkers TJ and took measurements from his lift. Armed with that basic knowledge I started cutting tube. I am hoping to install everything in the next day or to so I will post if I run into any issues.

I checked the welds on mine, they seem to look pretty good. Maybe you just got a bad one.

I finished the install of the lift today. I only problem I have encountered so far is the front drive shaft is rubbing the exhaust. Adjusting the track bar should solve this problem. I think I need bigger tires now though
