Ya don't get your self in trouble! I took your bosses advice and called that industrial supply store for my fuel lines. They are much cheaper, they only want 8 bucks a foot. But before I buy it I gona check the junk yard first and see if I can cannibalize some line off of another vehicle. We go down to besslers pull n pay in hebren KY, its only an hour from the burg, you should check them out for the parts you wanted for your shift linkage.

Here are a few pictures of the progress Ive made on the final assembly. When everything is finally bolted together I will give the floor a coat of paint.

Well the build has been a little slow lately, I decided to spring clean the garage and paint the floor. So I'm finally back to working on the truck. I scored some fuel line so I could relocate the filler neck like I had planed, It seems to fit real nice. Now all I have left to do is finish installing the rest of the panels, build my new bumper, perform an axle swap ( thankfully I already have them) and upgrade my tie rod all before may 5th. That is hopefully our first trip of the year. This seems doable....right?

I like the relocation to the top of that side panel. Where did you score that rubber filler neck? I have people all the time trying to buy that stuff from me. I have nothin for'em

I bought my fuel line thru Reliable Industrial Products in Dayton. I paid 8 bucks a foot for the 1 1/2 and 2 something a foot for the 5/8 line. The auto parts stores wanted over $20 a foot for their lines!

Well all the panels have finally been installed and I threw a quick coat of paint on the bed floor. Up next is what to do about a bumper and trim up the roof line.

Here are a few pictures of the original bumper that I had made for the jeep. I'm going to try and cut it down and make it work now. If it becomes a pain I will just scape it and start freash

I was going to start fabbing up the rear bumper but wasn't sure how I wanted to do it, so I decided to start the axle swap. I have the dana 35 rear and the HP dana 30 front with that stupid CAD system in the truck now. I am replacing them with a Dana 44 from an 89 xj and the front with a HP dana 30 with the dana 44 size u joints out of a 98 xj. The new dana 30 also eliminates the CAD set up. I started with the dana 44 tonight and striped it down of its old shocks and brake lines. I also worked on installing a Yukon mini spool in it but finally had to stop for the evening because I broke the spring pin that holds the pinion shaft in place. I hope to swing by the hardware store tomorrow and pick up a new one.
