Actually it is put together entirely with self tapping screws. It is extremly strong and after at least 8 month, no screws have backed out or given me any issues. I highly recommend it

thanks guys. i am glad i have access to the tools i do. But it is doable! 3/8" is a bit much for the normal welder but 3/16" or even 1/4" should be doable on a 110 volt


but to start any project you just gotta get after it

I built a custom speaker box in the side cargo panel, and a rack for my amp. I will post pics soon. other then that nothing custom. Wife and kids put a crunch on fun money.

I also restored my rockers if that counts....ok so I probably should have built sliders instead.

thanks, I did both sides. FYI for all you guys out there that still have rockers without rust, make sure you clear out the drain holes in the pinch weld under the rockers. That is what causes the moisture build up. It can't get air or drain.
