They are pretty easy to build. I made mine out of chevy s10 blazer spare tire carriers. I just cut them to what I needed and built the hinge out of some angle and some 1/4 steel dowel for the pins. I re used the latch and handles from the tire carrier and they work great. The only reason I covered them was because a local cop was hassling me about them and told me if they had a skin on them he would be cool with it, so I cut some old seat covers and covered them.

haha tell me thats an old firemans air tank. theres a bunch of em at the junk yard by me i should use one for a tank.
how did you run a pump?

Dude, if theyre dirt cheap grab em and make a system...these things hold, a decent amount of air. I dont think it would be hard to make a system...
