well then it would be easy to convert it if the beds full framed... and do everything he wanted with it... i had a buddy that had a truck bed trailer that had side toolboxes... front toolbox... toolbox down on the front of the frame... rigged the parking brake to the axle to a hand parking brake on the front frame so he didnt have to chaulk it... was pretty sweet rig...

nice
that trailer with a built in tent it wicked cool.
I'm really excited to start this project now.
one more thing. This will be my first welding experience since freshman year in high school, I have someone helping me but i want my own gear. what sort of welder should i get for this project that i can use for most other fabs as well. affordability is important too.

Heres exactly what your asking about. Quite a few other trailer threads here as well.

you could use a hobart. Although i've heard they arnt the greatest and have problems. i've never used one so i dont know. but if you want a good welder get a little miller welder. They are great when it comes to small projects and being able to plug in everywhere a 110v outlet is although a 220v welder is much better for a a better weld on thick stuff mainly 3/16 or bigger. But you still can use a little 110.
