yeah its not as easy but its deff cheaper than using a bender if u have to buy one

Think this is what your looking for, I made them out of some left over diamond deck. used self taping hex heads and have no door rubbing.

how thick is that d-plate.. and yes thats what i was looking for, but i was thinking like the stock plastic ones hang over the edge a lil bring it right down to the lip where it curves and make them a lil bigger than the stock ones!!! (longer)

Iirc, it was 1/8 x 4' x 6' sheets. I'll try to find another sheet at work and check.

Agreed I was going to bend the ends but I was making them at work so I really couldn't put a lot of time into this set.

Big *** band saw at work then finished the edges with a bench belt sander.

I have a tool box that got beat up and given to me. It has an angle on one of the long bottom corners instead of a 90 degree. I have thought about using it as a wind deflector on my safari rack. I would mount it directly to the safari rack.

Oh yeah, I was also thinking about putting some pieces on my 2x4 rock rails as a non-slip step point. Thought it might look cool too.

yaeh band saw works but do u think a jig saw would cut it? and yeah that would look sick both of em!!!

Thanks. Yes a jigsaw will cut with the right blade. That is how I have cut out mine.

yeah and if u clamp it to plywood and cut that too it makes it so the blade dosent cloge up, got my box today, time to cutt it up!!!!
