I am very surprised how these flares turned out. not bad for how cheap that was. way cheaper then bushwackers especially when you have to replace them.

I used pop rivets with washers on the bottom sidebut the trick is bend out some of the fender metal

Looks Awesome and I may check into it myself. As for being able to stand on them, I WANT TO SEE THAT!!!. BTW, It looks like you somehow made the round part of the edging flow back into the body in front of the rear tire very neat. How did you accomplish this without having to seem pieces together. It looks great!

There's no way that even bushwackers would fit cut-outs that large. The don't cover above the horizontal body line. The biggest concern would be if the rear wheel tub is not longer connected to the fender. That's actually a structural part of the unibody construction and should be reconnected. Filling the gaps isn't too difficult. Canned spray foam will work pretty good for larger gaps. Silicone caulk works well for smaller gaps and it stays flexible.

6'5" 250lbs stacked on 1 flare



and as for the iner fender they are still conected (welded as a matter of fact)

Yeah they took a chunk plus some out, if you can see it the wheel well is going into the door. That's my concern.
