First Bumper Build
Ive been wanting a new bumper for awhile, just couldnt bring myself to throw down that kinda cash, But Im a press operator by trade with access to free scrap steel, shears, hydraulic press brakes, and some expensive welding equipment. With some confidence, and a couple buddies I decided I would try to build one if I failed I would just be out of some time and some steel that would have been thrown out any way so here is my bumper that I built spending only about $20 on some paint and bondo.

x2...i hope the sliders are thicker than the hvac duct bumper. otherwise, your jeep is gonna bend when you fart.
bumper looks good...kinda big for my tastes.

Looks good! X2 in the thickness. I don't see d-ring mounts so I'm guessing it's not a recovery bumper. Looks way better than stock. When you Cycle your suspension does it hit your tire? Looks like the back corner is ready to eat at full stuff.

Its a .135 galvanized steel I just got it finished yesterday just throwed it on to see how it looked , as for the d bring brackets still waitin on my CNC guy at work to mill them out . Its probly not as heavy duty as most and may or may not hold up, but that's the thickest steel I could get. Its definitely not the best or nicest out there I agree but hey its my first one, give me some credit for trying
