This is my first complete rebuild project and honestly its not that hard to just pick up the tools and start cutting. I would highly recommend it!

Nice job on the bumper!

What does the rest of the tire carierr look like? I am working on a design for one on my rear bumper project and am always looking for ideas.

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/88...-69280/index7/ You will see the start of the tire carrier design on that page.

Finally got my spare tire on. I have to figure out where to more the plate to but for tonight Im just going to leave it alone. Tomorrow after work I will get that thing moved. I know your not supposed to weld 1/4" with a 90 amp harbor freight special but if you turn the wire speed down and just take your time you can still get penetration. I also fixed the latch on the carrier so that it actually stays closed.

Here are the pictures from tonight.

A/C to OBA compressor.

Valve cover breather to inline oil mister with ATF in it to intake line for the compressor. (more pictures coming soon on that)

Here is a picture of the latch I made to hold the handle shut.

With the tire carrier shut and in place. Wire holds it so it can't open up on its own while going down the road.

Tire mount.

Decent penetration. It should hold til I can build a better one.

In place without the tire.

Tire on. I need to get a bigger spare.

Other side.

And i sprayed the bumper black just so it doesn't rust until I can actually paint.
