Has anybody ever done this? I'm thinking of buying two round 6 inch led lights from walmart. There meant for trailers. I'm gonna paint my stock tail lights black and cut a home for these in them and hook them up. My brake lights, turn signals and running lights will all be in the same unit. Is it possible?

It's doable with an adapter that you use for lighting a trailer, but the adapter is spendy !

I've used 1 inch square tubing before. Just drill through it and bolt it up.
