e-brake is funtional with drinks. I used a 3" hole saw and a dremel. Yeah Im going to put some metal over it and probably paint it with that textured paint.

Smashed turn signal on a wheeling trip a month back and finally got around to replacing it. Ordered some of the clear ones for change from quadratec but when they got here they were ugly as s***. They were chrome on the edges and completly clear so you can see the bulb clear as day through it. I should have looked closer at the picture! I dont want smoked ones where i got the idea of clear ones was a jeep parked here in town. This jeeps were clear but not see through if that makes sense, they had similar transparancy to the front clear parking/turning lights but not so you can see the bulb like the ones that I got. I have a 96' btw.

Anyone know where to find the ones Im talking about. I looked at ebay but didnt see anything.

here is the one i have and dont want http://www.quadratec.com/products/55208_9009.htm
You could use a high grit 1000-2000 to rough off the clear.

Just used the can coozys as a guide and cut as far to front and side as I could without cutting the side out of console. You have to go as close to front as possible because there is not much room left for the back one. I think I had to remove the rear air vent underneat. Cant remember if it runs on that side or not. But it didnt work worth the crap anyway. I used a piece of it to block off the hole where the air comes out. I like how the guy earlier did. He cut into the side of console and put a capped stainless steel tube in. It looks really clean. I might try that next. Only I would set it deeper in and figure something out so the drinks wouldnt rattle arount in the tube.

Did the cargo bay thing today .... Simple straight forward and easy

Now I don't have to worry about my dogs gettin back there and stepping on my subs all the time .... Just askin to get blown with 100+ lbs dog paw on it.

I'm future adding some drawers too for tools n camping essentials , workin on that next

I did the same with my Hesco pump because it didn't come with a new pipe. I used chrome plated brass though. I personally don't like chrome, but it looks really good with the aluminum pump housing.

Yeah, when I got my new water pump it did not come with a new inlet pipe so I used the old one and just resealed it to the new pump. Today it junked out on me (got a rust spot with a small hole and was slowly dripping). I know they make new inlet pipes for just under 8 bucks but its not worth all the work to install it when you can simply make and install a brass one in minutes
