Climb under jeep.
Look around the caps for a couple bolts and a couple screws .
Remove them.
Remove caps.

Its that easy. Watch for falling dirt.

Don't have pics, but the fronts just unbolt easily with one bolt on top and two on the bottom. Rears come off with two on bottom and one on top....mine was a real ***** to get off, well the back ones were cause the thing that holds the top bolt just spun...

Ohh its a bolt, ask of them besides the top rears are held on with a nut and bolt, the tops on the back are the only ones that are SUPPOSED to come out with nothing but untightening one side... Although mine didn't

Well putting on the brush guard is a little more hassle than expected. Any time in see in the istructions it only takes 15 minutes expect 5 hours with major modifications. The bolts broke on the jeep when I was trying to losen them and I had to modify the bracket so it would fit up in the jeep. I will be welding the brackets on next weekend to support the brush guard better. but after all done and said that will be a cake walk from the rest of the job.

Here's mine after a fresh coat of paint:

You know waterless hand cleaner works great at cleaning up all the rubber and plastic. Then wipe it all down with tire shine and all the black plastic and rubber will look brand new.

Good tip, although i dunno if it would be worth it. My engine gets covered in mud too often

yeah you have to reach up in for the backs, it is a nut and bolt on '97+
use a 10mm, box end of wrench had enough angle for it to fit right on, I would assume the front is similar from me looking at it, the fronts with be messed with in spring, once you take out bolt on the rear, you pull the plastic out from the wheel well just a bit to clear then the plastic piece slides off to the rear.
