Hey, I have a question about the exhaust manifold on my 2000 Xj sport 4.0
Is the year 2000 exhaust manifold/better then the older ones? Is it true they came up with a two piece design fro that year?
I am asking because I thought of investing into a nicer header, but I also heard that the 2000 stock manifold is alright and gives enough flow.
Please advise.

I have the same question that nemanjaguitar has about the 2000 and 2001 exhaust. The manifold is unique to Cherokee and the do look more like headers than any other year of Cherokee.
These years, 2000, 2001, had more stringent smog requirements, so did the engineers make a header like manifold to make those years more efficient? The engineers also make the 0331 exhaust ports smaller I heard. Is this true?

Do you have any problems with the inverter heating up too much under the seat? Also what gauge wire did you use for the install of the inverter?
I have a 750watt that I plan on installing, Iwas planning on useing 4ga wire. What fuse (size/amp) should I use in between the inverter and power source?

While it technically is a more efficient design (along with the intake redesign), the gains are negated my the emissions equipment. This is why the engineers changed it to begin with - to keep the power numbers the same despite the restrictive emissions equipment.

My Job requires endless hours of sitting in the Jeep on a construction jobsite so this is what helps me pass the time. I have an android phone that is a 4g wireless hot spot too so I have high speed internet almost everywhere, worst case is I have to drop down to 3g speeds in the countryside. The laptop mount is simply clamped to the seat frame and has 2 wing nuts making it removable in a matter of seconds.

This is my power source 800 watts.....

I used to run into the issue of not having enough outlets to power the computer, charge phones and any misc other crap I might want to plug in so I tucked a surge bar between the passenger seat and the console, it stays put nicely and I have the option to move/remove it easily.
