I threw some black tape over mine lol, reduced visibility and people made fun of it behind my back, along with my doorless mod
I just shrug it off though, they just mad that i have a mod-able vehicle and theyre stuck with their expensive gas vaccumes they call "sick trucks" they use for looks.

Ace Hardware leaf spring kit.
When I added my leafs into my existing leafs, I bought a flat steel bar and bent and cut the steel to make leaf spring wraps and bought grade 8 bolts for the center pin in the leafs. They work great and can still flex out major with 9 leafs on each side.

Just remember to tighten everything down every so often... if not = bad news!
So for my homebrew mod... I was trying to replace my hood because it flew up on the highway. I bought a new hood from a buddy nearby. When i tried to replace it, it wouldn't line up right. Well.... I think i might have bent the hinges when it flew up... so i'm not sure it WILL fit back right. Because of this issue, i'm thinking that i'm going to say the hell with it, and go buy some Wrongler hood hinges and attach it that way!
Wish me luck!
