Honestly didnt want to spend the money. that one was completely free and i didnt have to wait for shipping and had it that day lol. plus i was just bored so it passed the time lol

Think I forgot to post this up on here. Snorkel and rack. I did make a bumper out of free steel I had around but doesn't hold my winch so its just temporary recovery.

IMO a cowl snorkel is your best/cheapest option. Check out my design (this design won't work if you have ABS.).

electronics are resilient to water, especially with dielectric grease packed into the connections.
Your engine internals however, are not.
