Yeah the switch in the glove is to turn the switches on and off. They shut with the car as is but since its electronic if i'm not using them why subject them to the hours.

take a look. Feel free to hit me up with any more questions they are awesome to have and were much easier than they looked. One of these days i'll be in there cleaning up the wires and its much more confusing than it looks because it is all the same wire but ya use what ya got.

I made my front and rear bumper and got them powder coated then painted to match my paint job on the jeep

Hoods are extremely week in general, which is why it doesnt take much to dent them. Even with the weaker bolts I would guess the sheet metal hood is still the weakest link in the system.

Have you ever even seen the crumple zone of a frame? There are ripples and varying sizes to create failure points, and control the forces induced, hoods have none of these. Just compare the size and thickness of the frame to the hood, its goin to do nothing for structure.
Every hood I have seen has at least four bolts total!

He doesn't have to if he's not using them for recovery. Those hooks are too flimsy for recovery as welded to the face of the bumper anyway.

But that color scheme is ... well it's dazzling ...
