Anyone ever made homemade gutter mounts for a roof rack? have any plans or some close up pics of some bought ones that can be made.

Take a look at the JCR ones they look pretty east to make yourself.

i've replicated mine for a friends rack once.
i'll get pics for ya tomorrow when it's light out.

it's a warrior products rack.

this is good timing cause im working on the same thing, any pics of finished products would be great!

the cheapest ive found is around 50 buck for clips online btw

I couldn't find it either, I was going to link it for you. I think they took it off their site. I just searched and found them in another post on this site.

I'll also be building a gutter mount rack seeing as I pulled my stock rack out of the roof when I had my spare tire up there.

Yep, the passenger side rail ripped right out of the roof. I'll try and get pics tomorrow.

Wow, nice. Did you have it mounted to the rack? I'm hoping that when my rack is done that this doesn't happen!! Maybe I should start thinking about attachment allternatives...
