Alright, finally got some pics up. Got some extra rails from the junk yard, some lights from walmart, drilled some holes, and a few hours later this is what I made!

Also, I see a lot of you guys running fogs and diving lights and other things, how are you doing this, did you setup a block somewhere, kind if like on a boat where all your wires come in with a single feed to the battery?

I like this idea on using the existing rails and the ghetto zip tie thing. I think I will go this route as I like the price and will maybe drill a couple small holes in the center of the rails and use black ties center-to-center to kind of hide it a bit.
i ran my wires up the pillar on the inside, under the head liner and drilled a hole under the factory rack rail. then up through the rail and into the bar. i used a trailer 4 prong connector so all i have to do is unplug it to take the whole rack off. i hid most of the wires inside the actual rail since theres space..looks pretty clean. sorry about the bad pics

I see a booger on that finger!

Just kidding. The pics are cool and appreciated. No worries about them being "bad" pics, I can see everything that I need to so I am more then happy with them. Great ideas on all this. Plan to hit the junk yard to find 2 spare rails, one for the lights and another just because I never figured out why they cheaped out and only put two on there.

Again, thanks to everyone for the tips and info.

On my brothers XJ we just drilled a hole right above the door on the driver’s side and then ran the wires down the a pillar. We thing filled the hole with silicon.

That whole leak thing is my concern. I will have to run coax out for my 2 Meter Rig as well, so I think another point of entry and a grommet of some sort is in order.

I lifted the side rail on the drivers side and drill ed a small hole to feed the wires from under the headliner out through the top of the JEEP.. after I bolted it all back down I then put a bead of silicone on each side of the rail and it don't leak a drop!

exactly what i did also. except i used quite a bit more than a bead

i actually used a piece of 1" deep strut from work, bend 2 pieces of 1/8" flat stock (really easy) and screwed it to the factory bars. really easy, stronger than heck, and i ran all my wires in the channel of the strut.

for the hole in the roof, i actually had to make a 1/2" hole, because i used 2 #8 wires, and they aint exactly skinny.
