homemade rear recovery point
i made this rear tow point, what do you think?
1 inch solid round bar, welded to 1.5 inch square tube, bolted to the old bumber mounts.

looks like its a pretty good design. Although i would be carefull doing any hard tugs. I cant tell how many bolts are holding it in. It might bent and tear the frame. But hey i could be wrong. Loogs tho!

Hmmm once I know how it's secured I'll pass strength judgment, but it does look pretty different from what I've seen, in a good way.

I like the idea. However, from the pictures it looks like if you tried to use it as a recovery point, it would bend. With as long as it is, and as far between the mounting points. Could be wrong though.
