Can't wait to see your plans you did an awesome job. My only issue is going to be fabricating it to work with my sunroof. That part is going to be interesting but I'm sure I will figure it out!

Well the mounting was the hardest part of the whole build, first i started with the two L channel rails that run across the stock mounts for the cargo rack that mounts to the jeep (its hard to explain being that i cant take the rack off and take pictures) but anyhow, those mounts are NOT at a 90 degree angle to the ground as i first thought when building it. They are really at a small angle outward- which is what makes the mounting so difficult. Then those L channels have 4 extensions coming from them that are welded to the rack at a very precise angle... But if i was to build another one i would use gutter mounts, it seems to be the best way and easiest way...

Well thats hard to say... I had a lower price due to the company that i work for, they order metal from Benco steel and what steel isnt used in the manufacturing plant is used as scrap... But all in all i only used 3 sticks of 20 foot square tubing... Id check your local metal shop and see what they will price you...

Yeah it was a really long way to run... But there's a bunch of other options. You could cut a hole in the roof, run wire through the cab... etc. But I Just did it that way because it seemed to be the easiest way. I didn't have any holes in the roof and I didn't have to take apart my interior to run wire... I guess it all depends on how much time You want to spend and how much modifications you want to do....
And thanks, I really like it.

I am speechless, that rack Is awesome, but the wiring and lights are what got my attention.
I love working with 12v systems and have mounted many lights for plow trucks, and such and this wiring that you did is very clean and the placement of the switches is a great idea. I am going to steal that idea if you dont mind, it will keep my kids from turning on the lights
Do you have your power source going right to the battery?
Again awesome Job
