Not necessarily. Knowing how cheap car companies are, I'd be willing to bet the bolts that hold the hood on don't have a high shear rating. Accidents will do some horrific things to a car, I'd rather not take the chance of getting my head cut off by my own hood. I'm sure someone here has the brains to figure out the physics of the amount of speed I'd take for that hood to shear the bolts that hold it on and come through the windshield. I could figure it out I just don't feel like it

I don't think the chances of that happening are very likely. the hood would probably get folded up and crush before the bolts break I put grade 8 bolts in there

i have never had a problem with overheating. I drive home from school from az to socal thru the desert and 120deg and my temp never gets above 200. even mudding and crawling the temp hovers between 210 and 240

When I wired my fan to a switch I left the sensor connected so it will still come on automaticly. If you look at the fan there will be one connection hooked to it. Mine had one black wire and one white wire, white was power and black was ground. I then grounded the switch to my truck and hook a "T" splicer into the white wire, then run that to the switch and your in buisness!! hope this helps
