Also started the mount this evening, got some 1" square stock and broke out the chop saw, cut 2 pieces @ 11"with 45 angles and another 2 @ 13" w/45's. Mocked em up together, and got my measurements for the second smaller insert square. So I'll mount the larger one (once welded together) directly to the floor, and the other to the bottom of the enclosure so they fit snugly together, then use some sort of straps/bungee on the corners to keep from bouncing out of its frame....now I need to get 240 in the garage and fire up that mig!!!

The computer case is actually a fantastic idea for it - keeps it cool, encloses it, make sit look cool.. NICE MOD!

Been a while since this first posted,( work, always getting in the way) so thought I'd update with some pics... finally got 240 out to the garage, fired up the mig, and made the mount frame. Some grinding, drilling, sanding and painting later, here's the result, and some shots from a bit further out as requested...did away with the internal frame idea as it seemed unnecessary, as well as the bungee idea. Quick release pins and some properly drilled holes ought to do the trick... Also thinking about fabbing up a metal-framed cargo storage back there as well, no solid plans as of yet, just tossing around some ideas in the back of my head. Suggestions are welcomed, and comments are appreciated.
