I got the bumper painted and back on today
Sorry for the bad pics i have some better ones coming.
Total weight is about 95lbs (10lbs of welding rod alone )
I think it turned out great. It looks wide but it matches the bushwackers. I just shot it black so i can add the clevis brackets later and touch up will be easy.
On a side note the porsche is a 87 924 project im naming "Totally 80's". It still has the radio shack phone in it and a cassette holding arm rest.
i also have a 77 martini 924 to work on LOL

Looks real good! Seems like all you VA boys are welders. They're few and far between in Michigan (in my area, at least). You boys workin' at the Ship Yards in Norfolk or what? Good job, bro. Nice and clean.

That's cool, brothers. I was in the Navy (was a Corpsman) but never on a ship. I still have a lot of respect for the men and women who build our fleet everyday. Oorah!
Skilled trades are a good thing to have, and I'm jealous of what you guys can do! Awesome job. Keep it up!

Bumper looks good!! The only thing I'd be worried about is the mounting points on a pull. The three stock holes won't be strong enough for some pulls. If you extend the mounting points back past the steering box bolts it'll make it alot stronger. Looks like you have a solid foundation though! Excellent welds too!
