Default painted trim and cut fenders

so today i painted my side skirts, flares, bumpers and grill and i used a metallic semi-gloss black spray paint. i also cut my flares to be flush with the bumper i just wanted to show you guys some pics. thanks guys.

i used 2 and 1/2 cans of rustoleum semi gloss (kind of flat) metallic black about $6 a can lol. all i did was tape everything off wet sanded lightly and cleaned everything well with simple green. then wiped everything down and painted. it took me about 3 hours by myself.

$600 in painters tape to do a 6 dollar paint job. Yup, that's how we do it here in Jersey. LOL!!! Nice job man. It came out great.

hahah i used about 2 rolls of painters tape and they were also $6 each LOL

I know, I was messin with ya because I know how expensive that tape it. Such a rip off if you ask me. It hurts when I need to purchase some. I try to reuse it somewhere else if I can. hahaha!

Nice! I always try taping paper or plastic instead of wasting all the tape lol but can't argue with results!

Toms River. I'm 2 minutes from Seaside. Normally wheel around Wharton down to the Lacey areas.

nice im about to do the same on my jeep... so all you did was

1. mask off
2.wet sand
3.simple green
4 paint

nice. im going to do that to mine just debating if i was to aresol bedliner instead of semi gloss..

p.s. how many tints did you do on your tails. i did the same as you but did 3 tints and 4 tints of clear.. look good.

yea all i did was sand, tape it off and clean. i like how the semi gloss came out, i wanted to bed line to but im glad i did this. my tail lights dont even have a clear coat on them its just 2 coats of vht nightshade but i also wet sanded very well.
