cant wait to see how this turns out. I was thinking about tube doors but may go this route after seeing these

good idea. i was gonna buy another set of doors and cut them down but i like your idea. lookin forward to seeing the finished doors.

I don't think so, its mostly Inline with the back of the seat. But I didn't think of that, ill do some "test" with it tomorrow.

It would be fine if you can maybe come up with a lock so it wont depress

I think they look awesome. I might do the same cept use some material to cover the frame as soft doors. As for the latch goes couldnt you make it so that you have to pull up on it for to unlatch? That way you wouldnt have the issue with unlatching them with your arm hanging out the window.
