Really?...........2k??.....
Yes, mine has it, it was 6 bills or less at the time, custom sized.....
Yes, I caged at the same time, cage is tied to all upper pillar areas.......
Yes, I also run unibody stiffeners.......because I sell them, they were installed prior, and I run what I sell.....
No, if installed correctly.....it does not leak, these things have been produced since the early 60's.........

Hate to sound kinda direct......but if you aint got it, please dont speculate, when done properly, it's a kool item for those with intrest.

Yeah the link for it that I saw on NAXJA was for like $2,000. Pretty crazy I guess.

You're right, if anything we should listen to you since you actually have it lol. Sorry about criticizing earlier.

Whooow, I'm no authority.....but the research is easy-
Heres a link to viable Cherokee rag tops : http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/199...tops-Sunroofs/ non of which are 2k, when I bought mine I think I paid less than 5 bills for it, also ordered a replacement canvas at the same time since I ordered it custom sized.....it took 5 or so weeks to get it.

Smaller sized rag tops may not require a cage.......I wanted mine as large as possible and the cage was in the plan anyway.....

Again, sorry if my last reply sounded overly direct, but we all know how the internet can be sometimes and I feel it's important to get information correct when I have experiance with a topic.

I like the tops, but would much rather have it be a window so I can enjoy the sky during poor weather and not be in the poor weather.

I love storms. Thunderstorms, snow storms, etc. Id live to be able to kick back, relax, and view the show from the back of my truck.

Your making me jealous.

Minus the flooding. That's not good, I guess.

As silly as this sounds, it's been such a crazy ride, I actually keep the NOAA radar screen up all day, it's become a habit, I guess our total rainfall yesterday between 2 outbreaks was 3.25 inches.....with ground lightening.

Come on down, I'll open my roof, throw a big pcs of plexy up there, and you can enjoy the view!!

Very, very tempting. Esp with what you've done with your truck. Between the storm and bugging you with XJ talk, you'd get sick of me. Hahaha

Someone said we've got 7" in the past few days. But we haven't had much this season, so we're still doin ok.
