Some pictures of the new headliner....

Hey sorry to bring up an old thread but in the pictures it looks like the foam is "rounded". Is that an optical illusion? I'm gonna do something like this but when you cut the foam shapes out are they more square or do you round them yourself? Also are the pieces double stacked? Reason im asking is under the headliner (in your pics) they look bigger than 1/4 inch but idk lol. Sorry if im not making any sense..
Oh one more thing, did your headliner fabric come already bonded to a layer of foam? Im looking at suede and it says it's laminated To A 1/8" foam back. **** ONE more thing. How many sq. yrds does is take?

The foam is all cut straight, not rounded in any way. It is actually one solid piece, one layer thick.
They headliner material has a thin backing of low density foam attached to it.
Three yards will cover it but that's cutting it close. I'd get 3.5 yards to be safe.

I finally had the time too do all my stuff. I ended up using the 3M Super Trim Adhesive # 08090 because my supplier couldn't get the other stuff and it was free. Hoping it will last.

Did you glue the foam to headboard first? Like before gluing the fabric to it?
